Last week’s life lesson:
Putting a (hot) microwaveable burrito in a plastic sandwich baggy will help keep you from making a mess while driving and eating at the same time, if you put said bag down on your short clad lap, you’re guaranteed to burn yourself.
It’s September! I’m pretty damn excited about that fact. It’s slowly starting to feel like Autumn outside, and I could practically do a happy dance while singing at the top of my lungs. I try to muster through it but I’m really not a hot weather fan. It makes me lethargic and not want to do a single thing. So, cold weather, with that logic naturally means we’ve got so much going on this month.
This weekend Kh and I went to another roller derby bout. It’s quickly becoming my favorite once a month activity. We drank beers, shared a hard (soft) pretzel, and got to do massive people watching. I’m a little bit of a creeper when it comes to that. I love sitting back and watching everyone.
Going to see Two Gallants towards the end of September. I’m looking forward to that.
I have a handful of photoshoots in the works. I got this edit of an outtake from a shoot that happened a couple of weeks ago.
I’m hoping to take no less than 10 naps today and get up the motivation to finish a couple of small paintings. Wait until you see! They’re super cute and woodland creature inspired. This weekend was the first real weekend I’ve had off (with not even the smallest work task) in at least 3 weeks. I’ve been soaking it up and taking FULL advantage of it. You say lazy, I say relaxing.
Back to that napping thing.
